1. Obtain and Complete Application
The first step of the registration process requires you to be accepted by Admissions Committee. For this to happen, you must first obtain the application packet from the Admissions Office or download it off the website.

Second you need to fill out each section of the form (information supplied on your application becomes a part of your permanent record) and include a recent photo. There are five parts to this application packet which must be completed before your file can go to Admissions Committee:

• Personal and family information (the first 3 pages of the application packet) complete with student and parent signatures.

• Personal statement
handwritten by the student.

• Three recommendation forms
mailed directly to AAA: one from your most recent principal or assistant principal, and the the other two from teachers (preferably Math and English). If the principal does not know the student well a pastor or counselor may write the recommendation.

• Translated copy of most current transcript and a legend that describes the grading scale used.

• US $125 application fee

Third you must get the necessary forms to the school in person, by mail or fax.

After Admissions Committee meets you will receive a letter of acceptance in the mail. Included with this letter are a few other necessary forms such as the Photo Release form and the Computer Network Acceptable Use Agreement form. Fill these out and send them to the school.

2. Send Deposit for I-20
After you have received notice of your acceptance, you must send us a US $1,000 deposit so we can issue you an I-20. This will be added toward your account after successfully completing one semester. You may contact the business office at ext. 201 or email info@auburn.org to request Payment Wire Instructions for tuition and deposits.

3. Submit Medical Documents
There are a number of medical documents which must be turned in before a student may begin attending classes. These forms are held by the school nurse after registration day but may be turned in any time before school starts:

Consent for Medical Treatment
Certificate of Immunization Status
Physical Examination (must be renewed every year the student is involved in the sports program) & Dental Health Record

4. Submit Guardian Form
Complete the International Student Guardian Information form and submit it. You’ll need to have a home you can stay at during home leave which happens each month (consult school calendar for dates). There are about 32 days of home leave throughout the year. During home leaves the dormitory is closed.

The cost must be arranged directly with your guardian. Costs usually range from US $25 to US $45 per day depending on your guardian or homestay host and the activities they provide. If your guardian cannot provide a place for you to stay for any of the home leaves, they must have arrangements made before the dean can allow you to move into the dorm.

Please note that all international students are expected to live in the dormitory and must have a guardian. Exceptions will be reviewed by school Administration.

5. Get Financial Clearance
Financial acceptance will be given upon full payment of tuition and fees. Each student must have a completed financial contract.

ESL fees are charged at the full or expected rate. Refunds will be given when the student has passed the TOEFL without using all the fees paid. Students who need ESL courses and have not prepaid for them will be charged ESL fees. Some classes have fees for materials used in class. These fees will be charged to the student.

Students pay room deposits before they move into the dormitory. If the room is cared for and cleaned, the deposit will be returned. Additional fees will be charged for the loss of keys. Textbooks destroyed or not returned will be charged to the student.

6. Register for Classes
Contact the Registrar at ext. 224 or email at registrar@auburn.org for an appointment to make class selections. Make sure to pick out the classes you would like to take before you arrive.
