Auburn Adventist Academy would like to welcome six new faculty members this year. Fransisco Brito will be joining our team as a Spanish and Bible teacher. He originally comes from the Dominican Republic where he was a technical teacher. Debbie Trautwein has a Master’s Degree in Special Education and will be the Remedial Learning Specialist this school year. Garlyn Wacker has a Master’s Degree in English and Literature and will be joining the English Department. We are welcoming back Troy Carle, who was the former boy’s taskforce dean. He will now be the Director of ESL and has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Pacific Union College. Harmony Smith is a social work student who is taking a year off to be the girl’s taskforce dean. Daniel Rogers, soon to be a junior at Union College, is majoring in international rescue and relief, and will be the boy’s taskforce dean. Auburn Adventist Academy is delighted to welcome both new and returning faculty, and is eager to see what this school year will bring.
